This Privacy Policy explains how the Forex Arbitrage Scanner mobile application (the “App”) by BJF Trading Group Inc. (2202934 Ontario Inc.) (“BJF”, “we”) handles information.

Summary

Information stored on your device

Your settings (language, theme, filters and refresh interval) and your acceptance of the Terms are stored only on your device. We do not receive them. They are deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data.

Connection to our website

To show statistics, the App requests public data from bjftradinggroup.com (the same data that is shown on our website). These requests contain only the filters you choose (instrument, period, broker and thresholds) and no personal information. As with any internet connection, our web server receives technical data such as your IP address, device type and request time. This data is kept in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting for a limited period and is not used to identify you or build a profile.

Links

When you open a link in the App, it opens in your browser, and the website you visit (including BJF websites) applies its own privacy policy. Links to BJF websites contain campaign tags (for example “utm_source=forex_arb_scanner_app”) so that we can count visits coming from the App; they do not identify you.

App stores and the operating system

Apple, Google and your device manufacturer may collect information such as downloads, crash reports and diagnostics under their own policies, depending on your device settings. We may receive aggregated, non-identifying statistics from the app stores (for example, the number of installations).

Children

The App is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process information about children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information through the App, we generally hold no personal information about you to access, correct or delete. If you contact us by email, we use your message and email address only to reply, and we keep them only as long as needed for that purpose and to meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada).

Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available in the App (Settings → Legal) and at https://bjftradinggroup.com/forex-arbitrage-scanner-app/privacy/.
